I have been painting ever since I was a child, but only in the recent past have I been drawn to the abstract art form. One of the reasons why I love creating abstract paintings, is because it allows the viewer to interpret the paintings however they wish to. Abstract art doesn't limit the viewer's perspective. Depending on where you are in your life, what journey you've been through, you can take what you need to from the paintings. I absolutely love and am always amazed at how people see the same painting in different ways. In this busy world that often gets a bit too chaotic (as we've all witnessed, especially this year), I turn towards painting and playing with different colors. It's my therapy. I like to think my art brings tranquility to the viewer, even if it's just for a minute or two.
