Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe | Review by Priyanka Gupta

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. My rating 5/5 . This book deserves all the love and appreciation. Let's start from the story, here is a gyst for you all. The story ntroduces us to Aristotle “Ari” an angry and confused 15-year-old boy whose older brother is in prison and whose father, a Vietnam veteran, is suffering from PTSD. Ari feels disconnected from the members of his family and he stays isolated who has no friends. One day at the local pool, Ari meets, Dante, and he offers to teach Ari how to swim. Thus the journey begins with a deep and intense friendship between the two boys and them finding the truth of Universe. . The book is a LGBTQ literature. Language is simple and authentic . The book is not a fast paced ride, but it is a slow one, as it describes relationships in detail. The book has discovered the reality of their relationship.  It’s a powerful character-driven story with a lot of heart and found myself utterly falling in love with the characters in the book. The book is realistic in its nature. The short format of the chapter was fun and interesting to read. Benjamin Alire Saenz’s writing: it’s clear and evocative, with just the right amount of description. . The end of the novel, I just cannot get over with it, it was perfect. The book ended beautifully and them finding the truth of the universe. This book deserves more appreciation. You will fall in love with the book and its writing style, it definitely has the most beautiful quotes at the beginning of the chapters. I'm looking forward to read more LGBTQ books.
