You're a person. A complex one. But you like simple things. The little things mean more to you than any grand gesture, like cleaning the mirror, or bringing sunflowers. Your happiness knows no bounds when you smile and laugh without a care in the world. I've always thought this, what we must always do or try to achieve is to make people smile as effortlessly as possible.
But nothing remains static. Seasons change, situations too, and you too, as time passes. I think time is the ultimate god, and since god exists within us, you can manipulate time. You do that, don't you? Usually you end up doing the exact opposite, such as making time run quickly when we're enjoying, and slow it down when you don't, but sometimes, as the sounds fade away, you look up, to the ceiling, or to the night sky, or to the people you're surrounded with, and you smile, you become hopeful.
Bad times surround us, and they do so quite perfectly. But for that, you have colors, your own. Red for angry, yellow for happy and purple when times are gloomy. You know what? Sunflowers have these exact colors too. This doesn't change you, however, does it? You stay yourself, ever-changing, yet the same. And you grow through every bit of these times. You generate happiness, you conjure up smiles, you make people laugh and you stay strong. You come out winning. You will always come out winning.
You follow the ideals of your role-models when you're young, just like the sunflower follows the sun. And when you're matured, you choose to stay optimistic and hopeful, just like the matured sunflowers always face the east. And you know that the things you've faced in your life have shaped you. All those little things, which have made you, you. Just like a thousand sunflowers that make a sunflower's head.
So, I say bloom. Bloom like a sunflower, and win each time, because you know you'll never lose. You'll win, or you'll learn. You will feel bad, but you lift yourself up, as you'll see so many people around you doing the same, watching each other, yet picking themselves up independently. Stay hopeful, stay positive, stay smiling, just like looking at a sunflower always makes you smile. And let that smile never fade away. Bloom all season, as the sunflowers do, and never look back.
